In the beginning of opening up this village, there were many Jiochung trees growing and forming forests in this place, so it was called Jiochungling. In 1920, the name was changed to Qionglin. In Ching Dynasty, people built up Wenlin Pavilion for providing villagers a place to teach and study, so Qionglin Shiang appear many excellent students .  

    Feifeng Mountain is located in Hsinfeng Village, and the mountain shape with an outlook like a descending flying phoenix. In surroundings of mountain, thick leaves and dense trees can be found everywhere, as well as those trails for walk. If we go to the peaks, we can overlook Hsinchu City, Chutung Town and Kuansi. The view is absolutely great and extremely attractive for all tourists.

       The specialty of Qionglin Shiang is a kind of mandarin orange, called Hailikan. This specialty is very sweet, juicy and able to remove the heat inside of body. With its extraordinary taste, this fruit is transported to everywhere in Taiwan. The starting traffic on 2nd Freeway of Northern Taiwan also brings many business opportunities for restaurant business here, so that local restaurants always have very good business.
